Well rather pleased that I have managed to get at least one kit finished. Not the best of pictures at this stage as the weather has been wet and dark so best I could do. So here is my Deagostini Porsche. birdaj2 attached the following image(s): Happy Modelling

Mark/Carl Many thanks. not something I have ever built at this scale before so it went fairly well all things considered. Need to think about how I am going to display this one now so that it does not end up getting damaged. Tony Happy Modelling

Looks great! I can't wait to start building this one myself. You'll have to post some more photos when you figure out how you're going to display and protect it. -Dustin

Top job Tony I agree, you definitely need to be careful how you display it. Mirrored bottom glass case? Regards Gray

Many thanks for the kind comments. Gray you are spot on about it needing a safe display area. The wing mirrors are just asking to be knocked off. I could do with something like one of those ikea glass display cabinets i have seen figure modellers using but not at all sure the shelves would be strong enought to hold the weight. Will have to do some investigating to see what i can come up with. Tony Happy Modelling

Hi Tony, Never had the opportunity to build a car kit, but if I did, and had half the result of your build it would be very satisfying. Well done Tony, Regards Trev. Work in progress: Tombstone (Scratch) - San Francisco 2. -The Mayflower ( scratch by plan).
