Hi Just snaffled this off Ebay at an extremely cheap price compared to all the others for sale on there. One drawback is the instructions are in french. However,I think it would be easy to scan them as Pdf files and then get them convert with Adobe or the various websites on the internet that do it for free. I need to sort them all into some form of order and then start scanning, hopefully it won't be too long til i can start my build diary. terry eebygum attached the following image(s): FINISHED BUILDS---- HMS Victory--Bismarck--Battleship Yamato-D51 Steam Train--Pocher Ferrari Testarossa--Soleil Royal--Schnellboot S-100--StageCoach 1848--HMS HOOD-- Delorean (Back to the Future)

Hi,
why do you want to scan the manuals?? If you only want to scan the build instructions, you can download all 140 issues from the German webside [which is still online].

Looks an interesting build you've got yourself there! I'm sure the photo's will be easy enough to follow if you can't translate. Although there's always Google translate if you're feeling adventurous Are you going to pair it with the recently released DA Mig 29 You could stage your own dogfight dio Definately be following this one if you do a diary Regards Gray

starting the build I wasn’t able to scan the instructions although file saved as a PDF it wasn’t editable. There is another build on this site by Greyhawk, and some videos on the internet but not complete builds. Stage 1Make a seat (weather it a bit) and glue two strips to the canopy. Stage 2No great drama Glue two strips to the body and fit the front of the canopy. Stage 3Make the second seat (weather it a bit) then fit the two seats into the shells for the pilots, and secure the front part of the canopy Stage 4A bit more involved with this stage fitting the LED’s for Pilot and Navigator, secure the front dome. Then fit the two pods for pilot and navigator struggled a bit with those two until I realised that by fitting the rear pod first then the front one they just slotted into place. I did not have to make any adjustments. Finally fitting the navigators’ Radar panel and cover. eebygum attached the following image(s): FINISHED BUILDS---- HMS Victory--Bismarck--Battleship Yamato-D51 Steam Train--Pocher Ferrari Testarossa--Soleil Royal--Schnellboot S-100--StageCoach 1848--HMS HOOD-- Delorean (Back to the Future)

terry Hi Terry I saw these...way to expensive, I guess I will have to be patient and wait for something more reasonably priced! Good luck with your build! Regards, Chris.

I see that the Mig 29 is available to build......but it is just not the same! Also doesn't have the bells and whistles of the Led afterburners like the Tomcat...

STAGE 5 Deals with the weathering of the cockpit. I didn’t do that can’t read the French instructions. The introduction of the main metal chassis. Stage 6 Shows the component parts also testing the Navigators LED screen (Works) and also test the first motor (works) yellow tape just means I can see the motor spinning. Stage 7 Here, the radar assembly to the fuselage and the lower intake covers are attached to the aluminium frame. Stage 8 Install the left landing gear and attach it to the aluminium frame. Had to be careful about the length of the shaft when you attach the door. The two metal rods were tiny Finally fix the component to the main Chassis Stage 9 Test the motor as before fit the motor to the shroud ensuring that the wires come out of the top also make sure the door is open otherwise it will foul it, and install the left intake fan motor onto the aluminium frame Stage 10 Test the LED light install the left aviation light red (LED) on the left fuselage, and put the fairing on the front side of the main wing. Test the LED again to make sure it still works. That's it for now until the next time thanks for looking eebygum attached the following image(s): FINISHED BUILDS---- HMS Victory--Bismarck--Battleship Yamato-D51 Steam Train--Pocher Ferrari Testarossa--Soleil Royal--Schnellboot S-100--StageCoach 1848--HMS HOOD-- Delorean (Back to the Future)

Hi all Another update stage s 11-20 STAGE 11-20 Stage 11 This is the same as stage 8. Install the left landing gear doors and attach them to the aluminium frame. Had to be careful about the length of the shaft when you attach the door. Used the short one for the front door and the larger on the rear one. The two metal rods were tiny Finally fix the component to the main Chassis Stage 12 Here we get another motor cover re-fuelling pipe and a fan and the other motor from a previous issue. Fit the inner bracket for the fuel pipe the fit the pipe to the cover. Test the motor as before fit the motor to the shroud ensuring that the wires come out of the top also make sure the door is open otherwise it will foul it, and install the left intake fan motor onto the aluminium frame. Stage 13 Test the LED light install the Right aviation light Blue (LED) on the left fuselage, and put the fairing on the front side of the main wing. Test the LED again to make sure it still works. Stage 14 & Stage 15 Nothing to do on this just the issue of one of the wings Stage 16 We will use the parts issued in 14 & 15 with the parts issued in stage 16 to form one of the wings, just a tiny drop of glue is used to secure the two wing flaps together then screw on the retaining bracket with the tiniest of screws. That completes this Stage. Stage 17 In Stage 17, the wing tip LED cover and the wing tip lamp are incorporated into the left main wing part which was assembled in Stage 16. Stage 18,19,20 and part of 16 Make up the wing Stage 19 Add the small flaps to the wing part 18 Stage 20 Take off the cover for the rack then fit the cable to the board (stage 20) Turn the board over and secure the cables with Sellotape or masking tape Fit the board to the wing using the screws provided. Replace the cover for the rack. Fit the pinion to the motor and place it in the bracket on the wing fit the power cable to the board. Then connect the wing tip cable to the board There is no way to test the functioning of the lights and the rack and pinion for the main flap Next fit the part from stage 16 to the wing then fit the two parts of the wing together with a push fit That is the first Wing completed eebygum attached the following image(s): FINISHED BUILDS---- HMS Victory--Bismarck--Battleship Yamato-D51 Steam Train--Pocher Ferrari Testarossa--Soleil Royal--Schnellboot S-100--StageCoach 1848--HMS HOOD-- Delorean (Back to the Future)

Hi All Another update for this build STAGE 21-27 Stage 21 to 27 is the build of the second wing. The instructions and parts are the same, so not much point in taking 20-30 pictures, we end up with 2 wings complete Stage 28 We are supplied the wheels and tyre for one landing gear Stage 29 Build the landing gear Split the main gear leg to insert the cog and spindle ensuring that the slot in the gear fits onto the protrusion on the landing gear leg. Join the two parts back together and assemble and fix the wheel Stage 30 The left main landing gear is completed by combining the parts assembled in No. 29 with the parts that come with stage 30 eebygum attached the following image(s): FINISHED BUILDS---- HMS Victory--Bismarck--Battleship Yamato-D51 Steam Train--Pocher Ferrari Testarossa--Soleil Royal--Schnellboot S-100--StageCoach 1848--HMS HOOD-- Delorean (Back to the Future)
