Pack 15 contains parts for stages 55-58

Stage 55

Contents: Upper plate, Gear lever, Linkage, Type K screws x 3, Type X screws x 3, Type G screws x 2

Retrieve the footpeg bracket and the left footpeg from Stage 54. Fit the footpeg to the bracket. Fit the gear lever to the hole in the bracket and secure it with a type X screw. Don’t overtighten the screw, as the lever should move freely. Fix the linkage to the gear lever with a type X screw. Make sure the parts are positioned correctly, Fit the two pins on the inside of the top plate into the corresponding holes in the top of the bracket. Take the left footpeg assembly and fit the two holes behind the corresponding holes in the rear of the frame and secure with two type K screws. Locate and fit the tube onto the linkage pin. Fix the free end of the linkage to the arm at the side of the engine block with a type G screw. Check that when you press on the left footpeg, that the linkage and the arm move back.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.

Stage 56

Contents: Upper duct half, Lower duct half, Type C screws x 3

Locate the posts and matching holes in the two halves of the duct.Join the two halves of the duct together. Retrieve the airbox assembled in Stage 37. The holes in the bottom of the airbox match with those in the throttle bodies. Place the airbox into position as shown. Take the duct and insert it into the front of the airbox, aligning the holes in the underside of the duct with the corresponding holes in the frame.
Tighten a type C screw into the aligned hole to secure the right side of the duct, repeating this on the left side of the duct.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.

Stage 57

Contents: Subframe, Fairlead, Connector, 40mm tube, 165mm tube

Locate the two holes in the left side of the subframe and push the pins in the fairlead into them.
Fit the 165mm tube to the straight end of the connector, then fit the 40mm tube to the rounded end. Bend the 40mm tube as shown, and fit it onto the pin. Push the 165mm tube through the fairlead on the side of the frame.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.

Stage 58

Contents: Lower air intake half, Upper air intake half, Plate, Type I screws x 3

Take the subframe (Stage 57) and align the holes in the lower air intake half with the indicated posts.Place the lower air intake half into position on the subframe and secure with two type I screws. Join the upper air intake half to the lower half
Insert the pins of the plate into the holes in the air intake, ensuring the tab faces forward.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.
