Good day all!!!!!
Thank you for taking part in my monthly build of DeAgostini's Ford GT. During this build I will do some minor work to this kit. It will not cost a lot, but it will make the kit more fun to build.
There are a few simple ideas to work by and this build will come out great.
- These are ideas which can be changed anyway you see fit
- Prepare a work area that is comfortable for you
- Have a set of hobby screw drivers, masking tape, work mat and towel
- I will explain what I did to certain parts to enhance the build
- Take your time, read the booklet and examine the parts

1) Take parts 1-B (Right Headlight Housing) and 1-C (Left Headlight Housing) Paint it in Tamiya XF-1 Flat Black Paint(my preference, you may have your own) This will give the area a flat finish and enhance the chrome headlight housings. bojazz attached the following image(s):

Stage 2 The Carburetors
For Part 5A. I added Tamiya Black Panel Liner in the recesses and gasket bases. Then mixing Tamiya Brown Panel Liner into the Black and touched op some more recess areas. Take a paint brush and lightly brush the interior walls with a little Tamiya Brown Panel Liner. Let this sit and dry. Insert the throttle arms and add a little more Brown Panel Liner to the recesses. Install the carburetors, and add a little Black Panel Liner to the recesses. Paint the rectangular boxes (between the diaphragms) a Tamiya Titanium Gold, then let dry. Insert the diaphragms as shown. The add the fuel lines as shown. Where the fuel line attached to the carburetor, paint that are a brownish copper (Tamiya Metallic Brown). Add a small drop (via a thin brush) of Black Panel Liner into the diaphragm recess. Let Dry. Then add the carburetor cover.

Excellent tutorial on how weathering can enhance the details; will there be any upgrades as well- i'd like to figure how to install lighting for the doors and rear deck numbers what will activate when the head and taillights are turned on?
