A few people have posted recently about building their holy grail kit.I thought it might be fun to reveal our holy grail kit and why it is "holy"
Mine was the Pocher f40.It took me 10 years to find one that wasnt a crazy price or already started.I finally found one on ebay with a buy it now and snapped it up. I managed to get an autograph detail set a few years ago right after I had secured an f40. The f40 sale didnt go through so I just had the detail set.I really like the look of the f40 and with the detail set it is a spectacular model.
My other holy grail was a large scale fordgt40 and that is now on its way thanks to Deagostini

The GT40 is one on my list as well, but its not my ultimate. My ultimate Holy Grail model kit.... The Hachette 1/100 I-400 submarine carrier. Its my all time favorite submarine ever. My only current model I own of this is a tiny Chibi-Mauri kits that fits in the palm of your hand. No only is it an amazing looking and detailed kit, but its 4ft long. I love giant models and to have one that size would be awesome. Also as a cool side note. Last year I got to visit the Smithsonian Air & Space museum in Dulles, VA. Inside they have the only remaining example of the aircraft used on the Submarine. I will have to post up the photos I took when I can find them. DeAgostini kit builds:
Millennium Falcon: 18% Complete Shelby GT-500: 28% Complete Thunderbird 2: 13.75% Complete
