Hi,
Can anyone suggest where to get a set of flags that replace the poor quality paper/plastic set that is supplied with the kit? It's such a shame that having now spent some 2 and a half years completing this build we're expected to add plastic flags! Hopefully someone has sourced a suitable alternative.
Thanks, Mark

Thanks, Gary. I have seen these and note that they are 1:78. I suppose the difference in scale will not be that noticeable? Mark

As an alternative you could make your own set by scanning the available set or even the kit ones and then printing them off to the correct size or scale onto Inkjet Transfer paper and then ironing them onto a thin material (like a handkerchief) to produce a set of cloth flags.
I've done this on my Constructo Grimsby Frigate, to replace the incorrect Union Flag/ Ensign.
Make sure the flags are printed 'double sided' (with the flag pole edge down the middle) and then cut the printed transfer flag out and place one half with the centre line up to the edge of the material. Iron that down and then fold the other half around the edge of the material and iron down the other side. Once both sides are fixed just cut out the flag and you're ready to haul them up!
