Next up Stage 8. This is another simple stage.

First I paneled lined the lower main body. Then attached it to the lower front fuselage. Then I painted the edges for the intake and yellow for the stripe to blend at the seam. That’s pretty much it for this stage.

Stage 9: a super quick and simple stage. Just a quick placement of the front bulk head. I didn’t label line this part just yet. I am stil testing and brain storming some ideas that may require modification and painting of this part so I am holding off till a later time.

Once again not building the recovery vehicles for this project. Parts were bagged up and saved for another time.

Coning along nicely, looking good and some nice finishing touches early in the build.

Alright guys its been far too long since I did any posting in this thread. Almost two years has gone by, time to get back too it.

It looks like the last photo I posted up was from stage 9. After looking over the model I have realized that I have built up too stage 11. I am not planning to back track with photos for the two stages I didn't post. Just gonna keep moving forward from where I am at.

I have decided to jump ahead to stage 31. I am skipping over all the stages for Pod 3. I will also skip over Pod 4 stages and keep going until the main vehicle is complete. All the modifications for the main vehicle are simple and straight forward. The pods not so much. That and I have to stop and rethink my ideas and process for those since its been so long.

I also most likely won't post up for every single stage like I was originally. When I started this it was for a contest and I like to try and go above and beyond with my build diaries for those. Since that's long over I am gonna take it easy and post up photos and comments when I make significant progress. This is especially true since of lot of what I will be building next is mechanical and only a bit here and a bit there. I'm gonna want to concentrate on getting all together and working properly.

Never fear though there will be plenty of photos to go around, especially for anything I make a modification to.

So keep an eye out for this to start up soon.

Here is a quick photo of what it looked like when I stopped building it a few years ago. I have since started up again and will post a photo and info on my progress later.
