Hi all, So this will be the start of my build diary. I've managed to get 99% of this kit, the other bits which are missing I'll make as I need them. So this is what I got, a pile of bits and pieces. My Favourite Building:- 1919 https://forum.model-spac...=339517&#post339517 -

So I wanted to build one of the wheels to see how hard these where to build. But the first thing I needed to do was strip all the old paint work of them. As you can see there not in the best of shape, spokes incorrectly laid and some spokes missing My Favourite Building:- 1919 https://forum.model-spac...=339517&#post339517 -

So today I've managed to finish one of the wheels, I've had to re-bend a lot of the spokes as they where damaged and from where I've had to force them a bit to release them from the glue the previous owner had used. But this is what I ended up with. Not to bad really from what I started with, this will more then likely be one of the spare wheels. Thats it for the moment as I need to finish some other models before I really start on this one, but I thought you might like to see what I got and to thank you all for your help. It's a great kit. I loved building mine. There are a few BIG blunders in Pochers' assembly instructions - particularly the placing of the engine in the chassis frames. The engine MUST be mounted further back or the bonnet and rad cowl won't fit properly. Apart from the wheels, I'd utterly dismantle what you have, right back to square one, and start anew. (And BIN that horrendous leather seat...) I look forward to seeing how it turns out.

Hi Roy thank you for dropping in, I've already dismantled all the parts and re-bag'd them and boxed them all up ready for the next stage which will be a complete clean. I've read about the issue and I've been reading your builds you did very informative, I'll also be looking at a complete recover of the leather with some thin 0.04mm I have leftover from my Testarossa or possible look for some new in a different colour. I'm still not 100% sure on the colour scheme, I'm looking at possible silver body with blue runners and a blue pin strip along the body or a burgundy body with black runners.
