Stage 34 Assembly of the final clutch parts: The box sits in the recess on the block, aligning the two pins. The tube is then attached from the pin on the block to the front pin on the box. The final parts that make up the clutch is then attached, and sits in the engine block with the two locating pins. CaptnBirdseye attached the following image(s):

Thanks for looking in, Roy Well, I’ve had a right mare with Stage 38! I managed to split one of the plastic pipes, and could I get one anywhere? In the end I had to resort to asking c/s if they could send me replacements. Thankfully, they did! I know they get a bad press sometimes, but I’d just like to say a huge thank you to those guys Next stages to follow.....

Pack 10In this pack, we see construction of the manifolds and throttle bodies, intake ducts, hoses, gaskets and rear shock absorber. Stage 36 The Manifolds and Throttle bodies. The manifolds and throttle bodies are assembled by just push-fitting the parts together. These are then attached into the holes in the engine block, making sure the holes are outermost. The throttle return rod now fits to the throttle bodies, with the two pins fitting into the fore-mentioned outer holes. This completes stage 36 CaptnBirdseye attached the following image(s):

Stage 37 The Intake ducts. The two support rods are attached to the two side covers, noting the orientation. Fit the two intake ducts to the side covers. Retrieving the airbox from Stage 22, the ducts sit inside onto the four posts. The airbox cover then sits on top, and are locked together with the hooks over the pins. Stage 38 Hoses and Gaskets. This was my nemesis stage . The two thicker tubes are fitted to the 'A' and 'B' couplings. That part went ok. However, when trying to fit the hoses to their mounting points on the engine, one of the pipes split. I had tried widening the pipe with a tooth pick, finally resorting to putting it in hot water hoping to expand the pipe. No joy, it split while fitting! Because they have to be cut to a precise 45mm, cutting it and starting again meant the pipe was now too short. I tried various modelling supplies stores, but no joy. In the end i just rang Customer services, and bless'em they sent me one out a couple of weeks later . So, the larger pipes were installed in place, but i had another issue when fitting the two smaller pipes. The two couplings would not mount into the respective holes on the engine block. I resorted to increasing the size of the holes and securing in place with a spot of superglue . At least the two gaskets fitted easily enough This completes stage 38 CaptnBirdseye attached the following image(s):

Stage 39. The Rear shock Absorber. The shock absorber body is fitted into the spring. The rod is inserted down through the spring so that the 'window' aligns with the screw holes. Insert a screw into the shock absorber body to secure the shaft, but still allows the spring to compress. Mount the shock absorber assembly to the engine and secure with the screw provided, again allowing for movement. This completes stage 39 and Pack 10 CaptnBirdseye attached the following image(s):
