PACK 7

STAGE 50

The parts included in this pack are for the rear luggage compartment lining.
Assembly of these parts is very straightforward.

If you have added any extra wiring harness or cables, they should be routed behind the shroud or out of the way.

STAGE 51

Stage 51 includes the pedals and two micro-switches for the electronic functions later on.

NOTE: The instructions do not say which switch should be attached to which pedal although they are numbered. Fit the switches as you choose but make a note of which pedal each switch is fitted to for future connection purposes.

The accelerator pedal goes in place first and then the instructions suggest fitting the brake pedal next.
It will be found however that fitting the clutch pedal before fitting the brake pedal makes assembly far easier.

STAGE 52

This stage sees the final assembly and fitting of the passenger seat.

As with the driver’s seat, it is very straightforward.
If you have painted your other seat support you should do the same here.

STAGE 53

This pack contains parts for the lower interior tub that will later hold the battery.

If you have carpeted your interior you should do the same to upper front edge of the tub.
The lower interior panel can also be carpeted and fixed to the main interior floor.

STAGE 54

This pack contains the heating ducts and the battery.

These parts will not be seen when the model is complete but it is still enjoyable to upgrade and improve this area.

The ducts should be de-seamed and repainted before fitting.

The battery can be replaced with a more detailed resin period battery that can be found elsewhere.
The resin battery will need to be cut down in height to fit the battery tray. The terminals can be drilled and battery leads fitted which can be routed through holes drilled in the battery tray.

STAGE 55

This stage provides the lower rear seat base which should be trimmed to match the front seats.

When cutting the fabric panel, make sure it is larger all round than the actual seat part.

It can be noted that there is no need to trim the edges of the seat base as when the model is complete, these edges cannot be seen.
Wrap the fabric tightly around the seat part and tuck it in around the front and rear edges.

The main interior tub can now be fixed to the floor and the rear seat base pressed firmly into place.

STAGE 56

This stage includes the rear seat back which should be trimmed in the same way as the seat base.

Make sure the fabric panel is larger all round than the seat part and wrap the fabric tightly, using double sided tape on the back of the fabric as before.

Carefully cut the edge corners to allow the fabric to wrap around neatly and tuck all the edges into the rear of the seat panel.

STAGE 57

This pack contains the back of the rear seat upright.

It is a simple push-fit and it will trap all edges of the seat trim fabric neatly in place.
The seat back can now be fitted into the interior.
