UPDATE: lower Rack.

With the Lower rack now fitted I can now build and fit the Leather side covers,I had a problem building them with thin wire and Leather as instructions so I made both from thin ply and stuck the leather to it,which gave me a firm base to work from.

More soon.

Regards

Trev

Trev,
Well done on your progress so far. I am currently working on the chassis and running into a problem with missing parts. Have you completed the chassis if so you might be of help. I am trying to connect the 2m brass brake Bar on yo the chassis but I seem to be missing the three brackets parts 47. This is page 23 of the instructions. The instructions suggest these should be on the brass strapping but I cannot see them. I am about to fabricate them but wanted to see if I was missing something. I hope you can help
Many thanks
Alan

Hi Alan,

Although I have not yet completed all of the chassis these parts have to be made from the 3mm brass strip by hand as the small clamps in the box are too small to sit well over the 2mm rod, these will be a tricky job to make. For me, I will drill the holes first and then compress the 3 mm brass strip over it making sure it sits flush.

I have enclosed a photo unopened from my second stagecoach build showing the 3mm brass strips I will use.

Hope this helps
