I'm really frustrated with this model right now, for more reasons than I'll mention in this post.
I finally got to the stage of mounting the body to the chassis, and I hooked up all the wires exactly according to the instructions to the circuit board. The accelerator pedal triggers the brake light dual element, and the brake pedal is making this scratchy white noise, with what should be the engine sound. No combination of moving the wires around would fix it. The horn, headlights, and tail lights all work, but the engine noise is really messed up sounding.
EDIT: Admin PM inbox is full, tried sending a request.

It does sound as if you have a faulty circuit board as nobody else as far as I'm aware has had this problem. Contact C/S and they'll send you a replacement.
