re visited the model (HMS Victory) after spending some years abroad working, ive decided to re do one side of the hull due to warping etc from poor storage, I'm seriously short of planking strips now, do I have to re order the magazines containing the planks (expensive route), or is there some where i can purchase the planks and pins,
I would imagine there are quite a few abandoned projects out there maybe that would help out

looks like thats where i should order, thank you very much indeed, do you know the Victory plank dimensions, as per mm, not particular about the length,

great, nice to get second confirmation, unfortunately the site john sent does not have them in stock, so will keep searching, I,ve mailed them to see if they can help though

while I,m waiting i think i will just browse back over the issues i have completed to re check specs etc,

Yes, that's it.

Have a look to see if there is any other wood you might need while you are ordering. For example, I found I needed 2 pieces for the poop deck bulwark caps, I can't remember why, probably a mistake I made with cutting. But I ordered a long length from here to cover it.

You might also want to tell them that it's OK to break the metre lengths up for easier packaging.

thank you for the advice, and gonna def do that browse rather than jumping in the deep end when i first got the project, my eagerness was soon tempered

how many strips do you have?, i reckon I'm short probably enough to complete 4 inches each side, ....put it this way, i'd prefer to reimburse you than wait weeks for a shop to get them or even post,....thank you so much
