Here are the final pictures. The main kit from Revell is well put together and does offer the ability of putting lighting in, which just adds that little extra. Fitting the bridge and shuttle bay in as well as lighting was also a challenge and could have gone horribly wrong when fitting the nacelle wiring. But it has been fun to build. I have also done a little video of it working and some sound effects. There are more sound effect with different music, this will be in a second video which I’ll post at a later date.

Thank you to all those of you who have followed me.

Drool WOW Mark, simply stunning! Fantastic build, can’t praise it enough Love
Brilliant video, by the way, and with all the electronics it’s definitely needed to showcase your build properly.
In fact I’m so impressed I’m going to read your diary again from the beginning just to see how much I can learn ThumpUp

Thank's Steve, it has been very enjoayable. What started out as a £23.00 Kit ended up costing, including the case around £400.00. just glad it turned out the way it did.

Thank you Malc. I have done a second video now, which is the music I has put in the second sound button on the panel. Probably noticed that didn't get played on the first video.

Hi Mark, I just watched all the videos & they are fantastic. They really show off the model. The soundtrack is very moving. I'm just wondering where you got the sound FX box? Stu.

Hi Stu
I used the Adafriut sound FX board with built in amp. There are about 3 version of it. I bought the 16mb one.

You can get them from various places, but you do need to shop around to get the best price.

The Adafruit website is

The sound files came from this website. There is every conceivable sound you could wish for here.

Star Trek sound files

Cheers
