Hi all. I managed to pop by the dockyard today and see how the old girl is getting on. I have taken a few photos of some of the work being done. I was not able to get on board (i left my wallet in the car so couldnt buy a ticket) but i could see that alot of work was going on on deck as well as other areas. it was a beautiful day so managed to get a few photos and can post more. Enjoy M

They are definitely ripping into her aren't they.Can't remember seeing a door there when we visited her,its almost as though it had been covered over,also can anyone shed any light on the fact that the mid section of timbers runs vertically rather than horizontally? What you are looking at in that picture are the ribs with the planking removed. We build models with just a few bulkheads to stick the planks to. They are more likely to pull it all up and put lino down! They spending alot on the Mary Rose.
