Stage 133 Contents: Sail S6, 5mm Blocks and Decorations
Retrieve the decoration C170 you painted in Stage 125. Paint the two decorations C170 and C171 supplied in this stage in the same way. Glue the three decorations to the fronts of the bulwarks to match the other side of the hull.
Prepare the fore topyard Y4 from stage 114 and the fore topsail S4 from stage 131 in the same way as the previous sails and yards, following the image in step 3 of the instructions. Tie the foreyard parrel to the foremast, above the foretop mast cap and secure the knot with glue. Lead the two halyards up and through the block hanging from the topmast, then back down. Lift the yard into position, taking up the slack on the halyards. Pass the lines down through the foretop, typing them off to the pin rail aft of the foremast.
Now rig the foreyard lifts from the blocks under the fore topmast top to the blocks at the end of the yard, back to the first blocks, then down through the foretop, tying them off to the pins on either side of the deck.
Prepare two 4mm blocks on the main topstay. Now rig the braces, from the main topstay to the braces, then back to the stay and down through the blocks. Tie the lines off to the pins on either side of the deck.
Pass a line from the blocks on the yard, down through the clews, then back up through the blocks and down through the foretop. Tie them off to the in rails on either side of the deck. Now rig the sheets from the clews of the fore topsail, down through the blocks on the fore yard, then through the inner blocks and down, tying off to the pin rails on either side.
Prepare the fore topgallant yard Y5 from stage 114 and the fore topgallant sail S5 from stage 132, following the image shown in step 11 of the instructions. Tie the parrel around the fore topgallant mast, above the mast cap.
Rig the lifts from the topgallant mast cap to the blocks on to of the yard, then to the blocks hanging from the crosstrees, then down through both mast tops, tying off to the pin rails on either side.
Tie two 4mm blocks to the main topgallant stay. Tie two lines to the stay, then forward through the brace blocks, back through the 4mm blocks, then down and tying off to the pin rails on either side.
Rig the clewlines from the blocks to the clews, back up, then down through the tops and tying off to the pin rails on either side. Now create the sheets from the clews, to the blocks on the yard below, through the inner blocks, then down and tying off to the pin rails on either side.
Store any unused parts in a bag labelled with this stage number.

Lovely model Alan. You manage to build so quickly but without sacrificing any of the Precision you put into your builds. I am still “slogging on” with my Mayflower but only get a few planks on at a time. Hope yours continues well. Tony Happy Modelling

More amazing work Alan.  I love these ships when they start to get rigged, but I have a question.  I have noticed that this one is being rigged, but the the gun port doors(if that`s the right name  ) have still to be fitted. So, will these be more difficult to fit with the full rig in place as it must mean that tilting the model would be really difficult? This build is following the instructions in terms of build sequence and to date there has been no mention of fitting the dummy guns or gun port lids. With only 6 more build stages to go it will be interesting to see what problems, if any, are encountered when these items are being fitted.... Regards Alan

Stage 134 Contents: Sail S7, 5mm Blocks and Decorations
Prepare decoration C170 and C171 in the same way as the previous decorations. Glue the decorations to the bulwarks, C170 on the starboard side and C171 on the port side.
Prepare the main yard Y6 from stage 114 and the main sail S6 from stage 133, then fit all the rigging as shown in step 3 of the instructions. Tie the main yard parrel to the main mast between the bibbs and the upper binding. Pass the halyards up through the 5mm blocks hanging from the main top and take up the slack, holding the yard in place. Tie the two lines to a 5mm block, then pass a line of black thread through the block and tie both ends off to the centre pin on the pin rail at the base of the mast.
Tie the lifts from the blocks hanging from the main top to the blocks on the top of the yard. Then back through the first blocs and down. Tie off to the pins on the port and starboard rails. Now fit two eyebolts to either side of the hull, fitting a block to the forward eyebolts. Rig lines from the aftmost eyebolt forward and through the braces blocks hanging from the ends of the yard. Lead the lines back and through the blocks between the rails and tie off to the cleat on the inside of the rail.
Rig the clewlines from the centre block on the yard to the clews, back up and through the centre blocks then down and tie off to the side pin rails. Pass the buntlines down in front of the yard, then underneath, back up to the yard and through the blocks, then down and tie off to the side pin rails.
Fit an eyebolt to either side of the hull. Rig the sheets from the eyebolts forward, through the free blocks in the main sail clews, then aft through a 5mm block fitted to the mizzen chains. Pass the line through the rails and tie off. Rig the tacks from the clews forward, through the side decoration then between the rails and tie off to the cleat.
Prepare the main topyard Y7 from stage 114 and main topsail S7 in the same way as previous sails and yards, fitting all the rigging as shown in step 12 of the instructions. Tie the main topyard parrel to the main topmast. Lead the halyards from the yard up and through the blocks hanging from the main topmast top, then down through the main top and tie off both lines to the pin rail at the base of the mast.
Rig the lift from the other blocks hanging from the top, out through the blocks on top of the yard, back through the first blocks, the down and tie off to the side pin rails. Attach two 5mm blocks to the aftmost main shrouds and a double block to the front of the mizzenmast. Tie the braces from the mizzenmast, below the bibbs. Lead the lines forward and through the brace blocks hanging from the main topyard. Pass the lines aft, through the double block fitted to the mizzenmast, then forward through the blocks on the shrouds and down, tying them off to the side pin rails.
Rig the clewlines from the blocks on the yard down through the clew blocks, then back up and through the first blocks. Lead the lines down through the main top and tie off to the side pin rails. Tie the sheets to the clews and pass them down through the blocks on the top of the main yard, then through the innermost blocks on the main yard. Pass the lines down and tie off to the side pin rails.
Store any unused parts in a bag labelled with this stage number.

Loving this build with its fantastic detail. Your work is superb and I'm envious of your skill. I tried to get a look at all your pictures but this site just lets us down every time even with lots of reloads. Alec Built: Bluenose, Arab Dhow, HMS Bounty, Hummer H1, D51, Spitfire,E type Jaguar.
