Pack 4

This pack contains issues 13- 16 and a note explaining why the freebie isn't included this time and also a replacement part for a part in issue 14.Issues 13 and 14 contain more parts for the gearbox assembly. In issue 15 we fit the water pump cover first with the instructions saying to use two T type screws. I think this may be incorrect as there is only one hole in the part and as such I used an A type supplied with this issue. Then the previously built valve covers were fitted and then the cambelt assemblies were put together, these are nicely detailed but mainly covered up. In issue 16 we put parts onto the rear of the valve covers and I found a touch of glue was needed to keep them secure. Next the water pump and pulley are joined together and fitted to the engine front. I found this was very hard to push fit so opened up the mounting holes a little. The torsion damper was fitted together with another drivebelt which completes this pack.

Oh no it seems like my build has now been affected by the virusAngry I received this email earlier today...

Dear Mr

As you may be aware we slowed down the retail distribution of F40 Competizione from weekly to fortnightly due to the impact of Covid-19. We had hoped to continue your subscription to the original schedule but this is no longer possible.

You may have noticed your payment for issues 17 to 20 was taken last week, we will refund this payment and you will see the funds returned to your bank account, credit card or PayPal account in the next few days.

Subscribers will now receive issues 17 to 20 around 29th July, when issue 17 is on sale at retail.

We are sorry for the delay and hope this does not affect your enjoyment of building this fantastic model.

Best Regards,
The Publisher

Looks like I have a couple of months away from this Ferrari Crying

Thanks for the update Al. I don't get all the news, since I'm getting my issues 3rd party. I figured there had to be some kind of delay, based on the lack of youtube construction video updates.

I also have issues 9-12 stuck "in transit", and have been since April 28th...Starting to wonder if I'll ever be able to build this one Confused
