Late in the game, but I just acquired a complete working Robi from Japan. I've seen some YT videos about converting it so that it can interact in English. I did my research and it look like the parts needed is the voice recognition board. It is the part included in issue#67. It would also require the replacement SD card that has the English language files, whick is on issue#40. Can anyone confirm if this are the correct issue and parts needed. DeAgostini UK was offering the English VR Board and SD Card upgrade but has been sold out since. https://www.model-space....-robot-bundle-pack.html Appreciate any info that you may share. I think that the parts that you refer to all came in pack 18 of our build which would be stages 67 for the board and 70 for the sd card, see my build here. https://forum.model-spac...amp;m=295696#post295696

Thanks for the information. In contact with DeAgostini USA and have already someone checking with their support team. Crossing my fingers that they will be able to sell me just the issue with the necessary parts for english recognition.

I'm actually on the same boat as you. JP version robi but I dont speak it. Currently on issue #62.
Already checked with Model space UK but they don't have stock of the VR box.
Please do post your find if any.

So I updated my Japanese Robi to what I thought was an English VR board and SD contents - switched him on and he is now ITALIAN!! I mean KILL ME NOW!!
Does anyone have a copy of the English SD contents as I am now unsure if it's just the SD is Italian or the board as well!
He wakes up and yacks away with his eyes flashing various colours as expected - then sits up and just sits there with orange eyes!
Here's hoping someone has the files!
