Ok - only a brief build diary for this one as I've already posted the build of the first of these models. That one was the Emmerson Fittipaldi car. This one will be Reine Wisell's car. Both are from the huge Entex 1/8 kits now long out of production. The build is almost the same as the Emmerson car except this one has a good few metal upgrades such as the injectors, velocity stacks and brake discs so far. More to go. roymattblack attached the following image(s):

Very nice start there Roy. Those 1/8 Entex kits really are huge. Malc.

This one is nearing completion now. Just some bodywork paint, wheels and those interminable decals... As I previously mentioned, this wasn't intended to be a proper build diary as I have already posted my build of this kit only a short while ago. That one was the Emmerson Fittipaldi car, this one will be Reine Wisells. roymattblack attached the following image(s):

I have a copy of the 312T2. This is making me want to add to my 1/8 collection! A great build of an ancient kit!
Thanks for posting this, Roy!

Many thanks chaps. These old Entex kits build into impressive models but they are actually not that great in terms of build-ability. Parts fit poorly, lots of flash and in some cases, parts completely mis-aligned. However, it all adds to the fun of the things. I've still got the enormous Porsche sitting here. I'll start on that one possibly after the BMW 3.5 CSL which is next... roymattblack attached the following image(s):

Almost complete. A bit of polishing and a few final pipes etc to connect then it's another one done. A huge model - the Lotus 72 really was a very long F1 car in its day. A bit of a break after this from the '72's. Before much longer, I have two MORE to build, but this time in the Gold Leaf team colours... roymattblack attached the following image(s):
