Pack 7

Stage 31: Middle fuselage frame.

Stage 31 Contains:
Middle fuselage frame, 4x LM screws.

The first task in this Stage is to remove the forward middle upper fuselage section, installed in Stage 6. Once removed you will need to store it safely, along with the AP screws you've taken out. You will not need either again this Stage.

Hook the new middle fuselage frame up from underneath, so that the three screw points align. Fit the centre screw loosely, then add the outer pair. Once all screws are in, tighten them all down fully.

This completes Stage 31.

Stage 32: Middle fuselage frame (continued).

Stage 32 Contains:
Frame P093, Frame P094, Stringer, 5x CM screws.

Fit frame P093 into the front of the middle fuselage frame, aligning the posts into the holes underneath. This is made easier to get the right way around as one of the posts is slightly thicker than the other. Screw in place wit two of the CM screws.

Frame P094 fits in exactly the same way, with the open ends of the 'U' shape at the top. Again screw in position with 2 CM screws.

Because the stringer supplied in this Stage isn't used yet, it is a good idea to return it to the plastic packaging it came in. Marking the packaging with the Stage number, set it to one side for use in a later Stage.

This completes Stage 32.

Stage 33: Middle fuselage frame (continued).

Stage 33 Contains:
Frame P095, Stringer, 3x CM screws.

Continuing the theme, fit frame P095 into the next screw slots on the fuselage frame. This one is slightly different in that there is no frame underneath it to locate it against. Looking at where the frame bends into a 'U'shape, the two screw holes have off-set lugs. These need to be rearmost when screwed in place.

repeat the storage procedure with the stringer, marking the Stage number on the packaging, and store safely for later use.

This completes Stage 33.

Stage 34: Middle fuselage frame (continued).

Stage 34 Contains:
Upper middle port fuselage frame, Upper middle top fuselage frame, Upper middle starboard fuselage frame, 5x FM screws.

Ok this stage can be a bit fiddly, if only because you could do with another pair of hands!

First, attach the upper middle top fuselage frame to the port side frame with two FM screws. The narrower end wants to sit flush with the left hand spar (see photo 4). Leave the first screw loose until both screws are in. This will help align the hole.

The starboard side frame is easier to fit, following the same steps above.

This completes Stage 34.

Stage 35: Forward port fuselage frame.

Stage 35 Contains:
Forward port fuselage frame, 3x BM screws.

Ultra short Stage this one! Taking the assembly from Stage 34, it hooks over the frame supplied in this Stage. The screws can be a bit awkward to fit because of the narrowness of the outer frame. Again, get both screws in place before fully tightening.

This completes Stage 35, and Pack 7.
