Pack 22 contains parts for stages 82-85

Stage 82

Contents: Paddock stand wheels, Rear fairing upper plate

Place the model on its right side and insert the type M screw (Stage 80) through the swingarm and secure. Tighten a type N screw (Stage 80) into the hole in the shock absorber. Retrieve the brake wear sensor (Stage 79) and fit it into the rear brake. Fix the pins of the brake wear sensor connector into the swingarm, as shown, passing the rest of the cable through the hole at the side of the fender. Connect the end of the tube to the brake system control unit fitted at stage 65, followed by attaching the short tube on the unit to the rear brake reservoir. Fix the free end of the brake caliper tube to the pump spout as shown.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.

Stage 83

Contents: Paddock stand

Retrieve the pinion gear, a type F screw and a washer, all supplied with Stage 29. Locate the point on the left side of the engine where the pinion will be fitted. Place the pinion onto the engine, then place the washer into the centre of the pinion and secure with the type F screw. Lead the drive chain (Stage 81) around the pinion gear and back to the rear wheel sprocket. At this point the chain is not complete, make sure the two ends meet at the point shown. Insert the two pins of the link plate (Stage81) through the two free ends of the chain from the inside, and place the link plate (Stage 81) over the ends of the pins.Gently slide the spring clip (Stage 81) onto the heads of the two pins to lock the parts into position. Place the nut cover (Stage 44) over the swingarm bolt head, as shown.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.

Stage 84

Contents: Tail fairing left, Type A screws x 3

Retrieve the paddock stand parts supplied with Stages 82 and 83. Insert one of the wheels with a pin from the outside of the stand and press one of the wheels with no pin onto the end of the pin. Repeat this with the other pair of wheels ensuring both sets can turn freely. Place the rear end of the swingarm onto the top of the paddock stand, as shown.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.

Stage 85

Contents: Tail fairing under, Yamaha logo

Using a flat head screwdriver locate the hole in the centre of the tail fairing left (Stage 84) and tighten a type A screw into the hole. Now locate the circled hole at the rear of the fairing and tighten a type A screw into place in the hole.

Stage complete, carefully store any remaining parts in a stage labelled bag.
