Hi All,
You may have noticed that the recent Official Builds have changed format a bit.
It was my feeling that the simple regurgitation of the wording as contained in the build guides was missing the point of an Official Build.I thought that since the official builds served as a bit of a reference to others, it would be more advantageous to have the official builder describe the assembly in their own words, and with discussion of areas to watch out for. (See the Dodge Charger stages I just posted, or James Hatch's Ford GT build)
So, it is now time ask you-all what your thoughts are about the new "feel" so we can continue to improve/change things to meet what you, the Forum members, would like to see, change, or add!

Excellent idea.
I never found the official build for the Victory as useful as some seem to except for the opportunity to explain ambiguous instructions or correct mistakes.

I like the new format.I use the offical build a lot when I am building and it is nice to see them a bit more "lively" than the rather dry written instructions.

I like the new format also Mark.
I just reviewed the Charger build and the Ford build and find the Ford build easier to follow. Specifically the start of Pack 1 (and all subsequent Pack/Stages) - 'Important Note' - good information. Then, Stage 1 - brief introduction and useful information followed by really good pics with captions - the blister packs - then all the parts laid out (group shot) and onward to the build.
The kind of comments made are really helpful - "tight fit", "scrape chrome off", etc. This is the kind of information that is useful to a first timer on his/her first partswork build or even an experienced builder who can glean a few "heads up" pointers.
Both Official Builds are really good but I'm a 'visual' (pictures) type person so starting with information, hints and tips per stage followed by lots of good pictures is the ideal layout, IMHO.
But to both you (Mark) and James, well done. Thanks for your efforts. They are indeed very much appreciated.
