A little more done this week. The seat has been made. The parts are very impressive, individual springs and then the cover fitted over with studs holding it all in place. Next, the circuit board and the rear of the vespa was constructed. Once this was done, the engine was then placed and bolted in with all cables secured. It really is like building the real thing. The picture don’t do it justice on how big this model is.
More soon.

Amazing detail, even down to a sprung seat. Just shows what large scale modelling can produce. No riding it without a skid lid though Eh. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Thank you for looking and your comments guys, should have more pictures soon. I have made the decision to not use the extras, e.g. luggage racks etc, like the original look. More soon Mark

Finally finished the Vespa. I have not put on the extras, e.g. the luggage racks etc, however I may put on the mirrors at a later stage. The parts went together very well although you needed to have octopus hands putting the two halves together. Here are some pictures taken outside on my garden table to give you an idea of how big this thing is. Photographed in the right surroundings you could mistake this for the real thing. I’ll put more pictures in the finished galley along with a short video, showing the engine working.
Thanks for watching.
Mark
