Not a great build diary because I got into this build and then forgot to take photos, but here is my jaguar build. It was a really fun kit to build-except the wheels.i did not enjoy them.

Looking good so far.
Yes, the wheels are fiddly but they look great when built.

You know when you get close to finishing a model and you just power on through to get it done and forget to take photos.Well that is what I did with the Jag.

Overall excellent build. The wire wheels were a bit fiddly, but they look fantastic.Fit was spot on and the detail and finish are really nice.

Nice collection you have yourself there Carl.

I need to get some finished pictures of my Jag posted in the finished build gallery.

I managed the first 2 wheels with the 3 way cross over with no problems but when i finally picked it up again i could not get the same effect so ended up breaking down the first 2 wheels and doing them all as the 2 way cross over.

Really bugged me that i could not get that bit right.

Tony
Happy Modelling

A very nice build, Carl. You should be very proud.
Those wheels certainly do look a bit fiddly.
Back in my youth, I owned a 4.2 Mk 1 Type Jaguar and I decided to refurb the wire wheels on that.
I still wish to this day that I had left it to the experts to rebuild them! BigGrin BigGrin.
Thanks for showing us your car.

Turned out great Carl! I don't blame you for rushing to the finish. It looks great with the rest of your very nice collection. I envy your display case. Thanks for sharing!

A great build there. It's good to see another Jag on the forum.
I bet you're chuffed with the result.

I thought about it for sure. there are usually some good car shows near where I live in the summer, but they were all cancelled.I am guessing this was a private meet.
