hi Johnny coming along brilliantly I often pop onto your build diary picking up ideas and tips etc when ever you make a posting This might be the bit where i get banned from the forum Not too keen on part number 56 if u get angry at me for pointing this out i understand I am just surprised at you not noticing this as i regularily visit all your build diaries for inspiration which i have found most helpful i hope i have not spoken out of turn and hope you will return the compliment as i would have given up long ago if it wasn't for the forum and people like yourself giving advise and inspiration Cheers

Very funny K+rl there is no way i set out to upset Johnny he has been a great inspiration to ME and others
I look on his diary as a way forward for ME to learn and be inspired from
a little hiccup is a learning experience
I thought if i pointed this "56" out he could forewarn others
experience doesn't mean you don't make errors
experience doesn't mean you don't know everything
Johnny is human so therefore
if he can slightly err it is not the end of the world when i **** up
seems to me the forum means if you can't say "great, super, fantastic" you might as well say nothing at all
Apoligies to any one i may have offended

That was a good call Budgie,I would have had the same problem even though I had sanded it down the number 56 would still have shown through. My remedy was to fill with filler and lightly resand the area. Hopefully alls well that ends well. Happy building to you all. CMB

Thank you CMB apoligies to Johnny for hijacking his space I post a lot of pics on my build of Surprise not because of how good i have done but to be forewarned of potential hiccups and to make others aware ie i have had to remove inner planking as the measurement for spacing is not the same as the measurement for OUTER spacing This is my first ever build that i have gotten this far on and i do not intend to give up on now If i was building this on my own i would not have gotten this far(fact) It is down to you guys on Surprise ,Victory, and other builds that has given me the inspiration, determination, and some times the darn right stouburnes to carry on to prove to certain members Yes i can do it Yes i need your help Yes i can

Thanks MWG i sincerely hope that Johnny has not taken offence as none was intended
Worst thing about a forum is that you cannot emphasize the thoughts you have It is down to the reader how they interpret them

Good idea Johny. I found that the hands free magnifier was useful for holding the blocks for attaching the wires and cords. is this to fiddly for your liking? TIS

Hello Johny! You’re so right there Johny these little blocks can be a pain to tie, you just can't keep hold of the little things can you. I'm pleased to see you’re on the right track, well done!. I've been re-doing the picture I lost the other week thanks to a faulty memory card, that covered this fiddly task, you might find it a help as others might. It not only covers tying the blocks but also fitting them to the masts, yards or eyebolts.

Hi Jonny! You’re doing well mate! As long as you’re enjoying yourself that's the main thing and when the finish is as good as what I've seen, it doesn't matter if it takes a little longer to get there. Keep up the good work mate!
