I have recently removed my Millennium Falcon from my workshop and had hoped to mount it on the wall in my office. The previous mount was from the ceiling which was fairly easy and did not put any weight on the arm of the bracket. However, when I tried to install the bracket on the wall of my office, the arm of the bracket could not support the weight of the MF. I tried tightening the 1/2 inch nuts on each arm which only served to buckle the arm posts and this did nothing to stop the arm from moving from the weight of the MF.

What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I wonder if you can remove the bolt and add some washers in-between the metal parts when you replace the bolt to form a tighter joint?

They just arrived into US stock. I’ll have mine on Thursday, so I’ll have a look. Not having it in hand, I don’t have a suggestion.
