Hi thanks to all who looked in and left comments much appreciated. My camera on phone did not work for couple months,so bit of gap in my diary,so start at issue 67 Here we make up the third 15cm gun turret, glue the 2 rangefinder hoods on insert the barrels screw the bottom on place it in deck and hold in place with the blue toothed cog, then just fit the limit switch. Issue 73 Here we first of all put the motor in for the fourth 15cm gun, then assemble the barrel elevation gearbox for the second main turret.learning from the first gun make sure all runs smoothly by inserting a screw driver where the motor will fit in on next issue. Issue 74 Here we just screw on the motor for the barrel elevation. I noticed on mine the positive and negative are soldered to the board the wrong way round whether this matters or not I don't know, but I ordered a replacement, just to see how this one soldered up,I checked on first turret we did. And this one is soldered correctly, that's me up to date now. Issue 75 First of all put another hull plate in, this one shorter this side to allow for the cutaway part of the hull which will fit here later in the build then it's glue various parts to the deck including bollards, roller fairleads, and hatches, then there are 4parts that need gluing to the forward gun barbette, be careful here as the locating holes are next to the turret so you don't glue the turret to the barbette, as I did whoops, you will need the electrics from issue 18 to rotate the turret for access to fixing these 4 parts, this would have been a lot easier if the parts were supplied before put the turret in. Issue 76 Now this one was the longest issue so far and fiddly at times,first of all make up 10 rope reels 4 large and 6 small by gluing the 2 half's together, then rope them all up, and fixing them to the deck as shown, paying attention to which direction they go on.then it's build up 2 aircraft transfer cranes, one left hand one right, note here the instructions have got c2 and c4 the wrong way around just use c4 where says c2 and visa versa. Then bend up the etch girders that fix to the crane support platform, again one left and one right hand, then glue this platform to the rear of the funnel with the cranes in the holes indicated, note the cranes are not glued in to allow them to swing backwards and forwards. Then bend the 2small etch railings for the small ladders which fit from the platform to the searchlights, again left and right hand, attach the ladders to these and glue in position, then attach the searchlight hoods, these can be in the open or closed position as they pivot on small pins.then remove the 6 etch ladders and bend there tabs to 90 degrees, the 2 longer ones need bending at the bottom to follow the angle at the bottom of the funnel, glue these in position 3 each side, then it's glue the radar antenna onto the radar which don't have one yet, finally just put together the next bit of stand for the hull, still got issue 77 and 78 to do yet get them done at weekend as issue 78 another long one. Issue 77 First of all just add another hull plate, then add few bits of railing to the funnel one needs curving to follow shape of deck and one has couple cross braces added, then just bend the final bit of railing 3 sides at 90degrees to be used in next issue. Issue 78 First of all add 2 lockers each side just behind searchlight, then 2 more small ones between the other 2 searchlights at the rear of funnel, then the etch railing from last issue around this, then bend 6 bits of etch for supports under the searchlights b1 b2 b3 then glue these into the prebent searchlight brackets, the instructions have got b2 and b3 the wrong way round, but they will only fit one way anyway, then glue these under the searchlights.then fix the funnel to superstructure via 2 screws done up from underneath. Then glue couple parts to the formast Base and glue this between the funnel and superstructure deck it sits on, then add 2 bits of railing which need to be curved to fit.then start the mast by adding various bits of etch bending parts where indicated, then glue the mast in.then add 2 etch bracing struts, these are fiddly to do, then finally add 2 bits of preshaped handrail to the formast Base.thats it till next time cheers mick. mogwai attached the following image(s): Builds hms victory, suzuki gsx 1300 R hayabusa, honda C B 750, lamborghini countach L P 500 S, tamiya 1/16 rc full option tiger 1 tank,
