I've subscribed to see what this is like but I'm 90% sure I won't be buying it when it gets released.

Two reasons :-

Firstly the cost it works out at around £1000 to rich for my pocket nowadays, but all these partworks seam to be getting to expensive.

Secondly you can buy O gauge white metal kits for around £400 thats a massive saving, ok so it doesn't come pre-painted and you'll have to glue or solder most of the kit together but even so it still cheeper and would be more enjoyment to build.

Well thats my 2 pence worth BigGrin

Greetings,

Could you please post a link to a model you are referring to? I would like to look into it. I know many HO scale train websites but I do not know the O scale sites as well.

Thank you,
Christopher

I've got some of the DJH kits and there fantastic quality white metal with brass fittings, MM1 are doing the "Just like the real thing" line this was owned by Pete Waterman if I remember correctly he's a massive railway fan. I have one of theres and again quality great.

If I'm correct the Hogwarts Express is a GWR 4-6-0 Hall Class 5900, which you can find in the Finney7 range http://www.finney7.co.uk/gwr-hall.html
