The brads for the windshield when pushed open seem to not stay in place. Am I missing something? Is there a way for the brads to be secured and not fall out as you extend windshield out and open?

When you say brads are you talking about part number 102/4 a metal guide for the window to stay open. Regards Andy.

I think it is part 104-3. They call it a rivet

When you pass the rivet through I had to turn the ends over, sort of splay the end. It’s a hollow rivet yes. Andy.

Step 21of 43 in build guide 11 shows a pair of long nose pliers, as the rivets are soft I can remember squeezing the pliers and the end of rivet bends over and stops the guide coming out. If you squeeze to hard the rivet will stop the guide rotating when closing. Hope this helps. Andy.

Thanks. I will try. It is hard place to get to with small part. The supports may need to be put in place before putting windshield in place

When you pass the rivet through check that there is enough rivet showing so as the pliers can lose over the ends. Another thought if you want is a spot of glue but make sure the guide is free to move when you open windows. I personally didn’t have a problem using pliers the windows open and close ok. Andy.
