I am now going to test 3 different adhesives on some plastic sheet with 3 different samples, and subject them to heat, cold and condensation. The adhesives are :- 1) Aliphatic 2) PVA 3) Evo Stick contact adhesive (solvent free)and its made in Stafford. I will also test the double sided tape on the edge of the fabric. Wish me luck MWG attached the following image(s): MWG BUILD DIARIES: HMS VICTORY, SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS, SAN FRANCISCO II, HMS HOOD, HMS ENDEAVOUR LONGBOAT, HMS VICTORY X-SECTION, 007 DB5, NISSAN GTR, CUTTY SARK, RB7, AKAGI, BARK HMS ENDEAVOUR, HUMMER H1, MITSUBISHI ZERO.

Ok! here are my sample carpet adhesives, but first the plastic mounts I cut from a plastic sheet:- MWG attached the following image(s): MWG BUILD DIARIES: HMS VICTORY, SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS, SAN FRANCISCO II, HMS HOOD, HMS ENDEAVOUR LONGBOAT, HMS VICTORY X-SECTION, 007 DB5, NISSAN GTR, CUTTY SARK, RB7, AKAGI, BARK HMS ENDEAVOUR, HUMMER H1, MITSUBISHI ZERO.

now the samples:- 1) Aliphatic (I expect this one to lose) 2) Contact (strong contender) 3) PVA 4) Double sided strip onthe outside Contact on the inside I will now expose them to heat and cold (fridge) The Aliphatic failed almost at once, but it left a clear film of dry adhesive on the back of the fabric to which I added contact adhesive, so we will see MWG attached the following image(s): MWG BUILD DIARIES: HMS VICTORY, SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS, SAN FRANCISCO II, HMS HOOD, HMS ENDEAVOUR LONGBOAT, HMS VICTORY X-SECTION, 007 DB5, NISSAN GTR, CUTTY SARK, RB7, AKAGI, BARK HMS ENDEAVOUR, HUMMER H1, MITSUBISHI ZERO.
