Kaya all
Final finished R2D2 last night and he powered up like a dream.
I can full control him and move him about with either the video mode or manual mode.
The only issues I have is when you put him in patrol mode he just goes around in circles. What should areas should I be looking at to solve this.
The other one is the arms. I tried re-seating the plugs but it didn't make any difference. Again, any ideas of where to look?
Cheers
Ian

Mmmmm - tricky one. Once he goes into patrol mode he's using all the sensors (manual mode - no sensors). So either one of his sensors isn't connected properly or... your room is too small and the sensors are in overload. Re. the arms. I know from some builders if the arms weren't installed correctly it can cause grief later on. DO they close flush? Did the initial test work ok? My demo of patrol mode https://youtu.be/yME5Hgry9JE
My demo of operational arms https://youtu.be/i4lgUaAgj1gBUILDING: Taking a break / Waiting for the next epic build to be released
COMPLETED: Hachette Spitfire, Hachette Bismarck, Deagostini Millennium Falcon, Deagostini R2-D2

My demo of operational arms https://youtu.be/i4lgUaAgj1g[/quote] Our house is very similar to yours, exact some tiles by the look. I tried putting him in the middle of the room and he did the same thing. The sensor on his middle leg works ok, you his that and he goes backwards. all the sensors worked during the testing of the build, so I wonder if it might be a cable issue, maybe something isn't sitting right

I'm still leaning towards a faulty wire/connector with a sensor. Try disconnecting both shoulder sensors and see what happens. BUILDING: Taking a break / Waiting for the next epic build to be released
