That concludes this weeks post and closes out this stage of the build. I thought it would never end!  Next week i'll make a start on the Engine Room. Good evening from 'The Dockyard'. So, work on the Engine Room commences. Feels a bit weird not having to scratch build for a change. I started by making up the basic diesel engine blocks. There is a lot more detail to add, but i've decided to add these parts later once i have painted and weathered what i have made so far. The paint [light green] and undercoat is on order. While i'm waiting for the paint to arrive, i concentrated on making a start on the etched brass engine mounts. I decided to solder all parts. Adding the figures was a good idea. Really shows what a confined space they were working and living in- don’t think o could have done the same. Looks very nicely painted and detailed. Tony Happy Modelling
