Issue 90 First of all attach another hull plate, then get the plate from issue 81and glue 2 magnets in making sure you can see the s engraved on one side of them, then screw on the magnet retainers. Then get the other 2 magnet retainers and glue magnets in them making sure the s on the magnets can't be seen this time, then fix these inside the hull, and then just attach the plate which is removable to show the turbine and anti torpedo ribbing detail inside which will come next issues, cheers mick. ps if administration see this it needs moving to competitor builds as it's hachette mogwai attached the following image(s): Builds hms victory, suzuki gsx 1300 R hayabusa, honda C B 750, lamborghini countach L P 500 S, tamiya 1/16 rc full option tiger 1 tank, built, Mclaren M P 4 - 23. Issue 91 Here we build up the aft fire control post, first assemble the gear box, then fit the motor from issue 89.glue on the mast rangefinder arms, couple details to the top, glue the 2 parts together and add various bits of etch. Make sure the motor works by using the motor test board, as it be impossible to do anything with it once fully installed. Issue 92 Here we get to assemble the turbine room and anti torpedo ribbing. This all comes in grey, I though I would paint this lot just to make it more interesting, as to authenticity of colors I not a clue, just went with what I liked. I'll let the pictures tell the rest. It sits behind the magnetic removable plate. Issue 93 First of all fit another hull plate, then fit the cable extensions first one is made up of cable we got in issue 18,and one from this issue connect the 2 together then plug one end into socket 4. On the Foredeck, then clip it to bottom of Hull using the clips from issue 92.the other cable from this issue plugs into port 23 of the motherboard under the bridge section of Hull. They do ask you to clip this to bottom of Hull now, but there's no point as you will only have to remove it to do a electrical test in issue 100,so I'll clip it in after this test.cheers mick. mogwai attached the following image(s): Builds hms victory, suzuki gsx 1300 R hayabusa, honda C B 750, lamborghini countach L P 500 S, tamiya 1/16 rc full option tiger 1 tank, built, Mclaren M P 4 - 23. Issue 94 First of all get the aft deckhouse from previous issue and fit the small bit of decking to it, then glue the the searchlight deck to the searchlight Base then glue on the round aa control station on top of this deck, then make up 2 searchlights. I'll not bore you with assembly of these as there the same as the previous 5.glue these in and add few details around the aa tower. That's it till next time.cheers mick. mogwai attached the following image(s): Builds hms victory, suzuki gsx 1300 R hayabusa, honda C B 750, lamborghini countach L P 500 S, tamiya 1/16 rc full option tiger 1 tank, built, Mclaren M P 4 - 23. Hi Mick,
This looks like such a fun build. I wonder if all the electronic goodies could be shifted over to the Trumpeter 1/200 kit? The decks and segmented hill just really put me off. It’s lovely in so many other ways though!
Thank you for posting!

Looking good Mick and as you say, rather more detailed than was first expected from a partwork model?
Nicely done, keep up the good work.

Issue 97 First of all attach the deck to the aft superstructure from issue 94,then a bit of dark grey deck on the deckhouse assembly from issue 94,then another bit of deck to the aft bridge. Then glue this to the aft deckhouse, then glue the liferafts together to stacks of 4.then 4 details into the aft bridge.then glue on the liferafts. Then another detail glue on just in front of the searchlight platform. Then I made up and bent the 2 overhanging parts from etch bent up the 5 etch ladders twisting the steps so they horizontal when in position, then glue these on, next I put on the aft control post from issue 91.then it's fix the 2 parts of superstructure together. Then there are various lockers to glue to deck.i had to redrill the holes for these as they were bit tight and lockers not quite sit flush on deck. Cheers mick. mogwai attached the following image(s): Builds hms victory, suzuki gsx 1300 R hayabusa, honda C B 750, lamborghini countach L P 500 S, tamiya 1/16 rc full option tiger 1 tank, built, Mclaren M P 4 - 23.
