Hi Sue, Not used one of these, but looking at it I see no reason why it would not work. Its along the same lines as the shape scrapers, but I would think you would need to run a plank through a few times to get the angle shown in the pics. I can see that if the provided planks are not exactly cut with the grain then picking the wrong direction to scrape would cause some ugly jagged disasters! No intention to buy, was wondering if anyone had used it. Sue
