Stage 81; The front section of the body

This is another slide fit. Flip the car body over and slide the front clip onto the body. Put 3QM screws in to attach across the front clip. Secure with 4FM screws on the side, two each side.

Stage 82 ;Mounting the left door (I)

I started off by polishing the door. The lock, 82C, is directional, the hole has a flat, as does the part. Put the door handle in place and secure with an AP screw. The mirror is four parts, assemble as shown. I did have to use a hobby knife to get the backing off the mirror. Secure the mirror to the door with a DM screw.

Stage 83; Mounting the left door (II)

Put the frame, 83A, in position and secure with 4AM screws. The two parts of the top hinge go together with a TM screw. Attach as shown with 2AM screws. Put the lower hinge together and pin with a UM screw. Put the door aside and mount the hinge mount plate 83F to the middle section of the car body with 3AM screws.

Stage 84; The left door lock

I ended up putting 84B and 84D together, drop the spring into the slot. Slide the lock and pin thru the hole in the door jamb into the spring. Orient the lock, 84D correctly. Put the lock cover on with 2AP screws. Be careful not to push on the window frames.

Stage 85; The inner panel of the left door

Put the door handle together and press into the inner door panel. Attach the panel with 6AP screws. Put the window trim, 85D in as shown. From the backside, put the two mount brackets in with 3OP screws.
