Hi guys,

Has anyone seen the missing airbox cam housing from the model?

Its not even on the Amalgam model, Does anyone know why this is missing?

Admin/Tomick?

Thanks!

If its not shown in photos of the model then its highly unlikely

The item being made in your photo is not the item Senna94 is referring to, as the top camera is supplied in issue 14.

Look at the black circled item in photo 1 and seen again in P2, which looks like an airbox side camera (or at least that is where they used to be located), in addition to the top camera, I'm not quite sure what the side airbox item is if its not a camera?

The photo I've shown is the top Camera pod being resparayed with the correct MP4 Red and the white one being made with 1mm plasticard is to go on the side as in the Photo's Tomick. Just putting the other one with it to show as reference.. Think i know what i'm doing lol Flapper

I did NOT suggest that you do not know what you are doing and there's no need for flippancy!

I took it that the unpainted item was in someway part of the painted item that you might have made your own, and the tongue I took to be just that, but I can now see it was meant in jest.

That aside, its great to see the changes youre making to make your model as authentic as possible, and likley the end result better than the Amalgam 2.8k version.

Keep at it as your build is a credit to you Cool

It's made from 1mm plastic sheet. 5 pieces layered on top of each other and then filled down to form the same shape.. I'll do another and do a step by step so to show how its done... you could do it from balsa but i think it will be too fidly
