Well, here's the old girl completed.
It was fun rescuing the sorry wreck I started out with.

I didn't use any new or replacement parts and just did my best to repair the broken parts. The very few missing parts were copied by me in resin.

I did add a lot of missing details, used real wood on the floor and dash and printed my own replacement decals.

On to the next project...

That is a fabulous end result Roy, hard to believe that it was in such a bad state at the beginning given how it looks now. Your best yet in my opinion, it wouldn't look out of place amongst all of the other scale models down at the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu, Hampshire!

Very well done. Drool Cool ThumpUp

Very kind of you chaps.

I must admit I enjoy getting a box of rubbish and trying to make something reasonable from it.
I have a couple of Tamiya 1/12 'scrappers' that I need to look at.BigGrin

Hi Roy,
You’ve done a marvellous job on this kit it’s been a pleasure following this build. Also it’s real credit to you skills as a modeller. I particularly like the third picture the way it’s been taken it looks like it’s sat in your drive. Marvellous stuff, this belongs in the best of the best in my humble opinion. Cool
