Does anyone know where I might be able to source some small miniature jubilee clips or something similar that looks like a metal straps from?

Depends how accurate/detailed you want them to be.

I make my own using aluminium tape from a hardware store.
2-3 layers thick, then cut strips as wide as you want them.
Once wrapped around the hoses, they look pretty good and being self adhesive, very easy to apply.

Thanks for the responses folks. Some good food for thought there!

The idea was following on from mr_frog re: the brake duct hoses. As he pointed out the ones supplied are really stiff and almost prevent the steering from working at all so I'm also thinking about replacing them with something. On the pics he shared it shows them held on with some sort of hose clamp/large jubilee clip sort of thing so I wondered how I could simulate that look or if there was anything I could buy from somewhere.
