You know the price Karl, its gold doubloons just like in the movie I couldn't see any prices either, I did see a nice model though of HMS Dreadnought that took my fancy. The Black Pearl is a cracker, to say its a plastic model as well. It gets my vote...

Currently in Russia @2150 Rubles (approx £45), its not arrived in the UK as yet but it is heading our way. Hannants have it listed pending its arrival, no UK price as yet. http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/ZVE9037
It is 55cms long, 895 parts, plastic sails, heaps of small detail parts, rigging and armament, as well as stained glass windows which with flickering LED's would look great! The kit also includes additional rigging wire and stand. It is licensed by and made in close co-operation with Disney and has an incredible level of detail which has never before been seen in a plastic model of a sailing ship. The use of high-precision 3D-modelling and innovative sail-making technologies, the designers have achieved an impossible result – a highly detailed model which can be assembled by almost anyone, regardless of level of experience. Many plastic kit experts are already stating, that the Zvezda Black Pearl is the best plastic model of a sailing ship ever produced!

Many ships have carried both names, but the two in the film like the BP are fictional

Its looking like the rumours are true, apparently the Disney licence for the Zvezda Black Pearl wasn't forthcoming (despite the initial Russian/Ukraine batch having been boxed and sold as such within Russia, Ukraine and the USA). Zvezda have had to rebrand/rebox the kit and it is now called the Pirate ship 'Black Swan' RRP is £99.99 and has just gone on sale, and now contains a Swan figurehead. This has instantly made the original batch of Black Pearl kits very sought after/collectors items! Here's the new box art.... Tomick attached the following image(s):

No doubt the Swan figurehead swop is to avoid the might of Disney
