HI just thought I would say hi and post a few pics of my build, it has been a while I started in 2010 and put a couple of years of evenings and weekends into her and got as far as issue 72 and there she sat as life events got in the way, anyhow I have been on furlough for last 10 weeks so decided to dust her off and start again, I had to create a new space and get a workbench dig out all the tools work out where I was, that itself took a weekend up. So here I am several weeks and a few hundred hours of work later and I have turned her from her stained look I was originally going to just do the stained version, to her new painted look with the copper hull using the copper tape method.

Hi Richard, and welcome back! That's certainly some project you've had on the go there? Since 2010 eh? That's when i first came across this forum. You'll be on the final stretch then now, once you've re-coppered the hull Regards Gray

Good to see you back. Just by way of a reminder, if you resize your pics to a max of 650 pixels wide then they will show rather than being downloads. Just ask if you need any assistance with that. Hope you are enjoying getting back in the groove. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Hi Richard, welcome back to the forum. I remember when I first started uploading pics they would look like yours. I was advised to resize them to 640x480 and rename the extension to .jpg rather than .jpeg. That seems to do the trick and they appear automatically (rather than a download). Sometimes you need to regen the view, that's just a vagary of the website, but they appear much quicker Hope that helps. Chris

Hi Richard, Good to see you back. Lots of info inthe link below to aid in posting pics: https://forum.model-spac....aspx?g=posts&t=244
Basically, they need to be no more than 650 pixels wide and .jpg format, NOT .jpeg If you need more assistance just ask and let us know what you use to take the pics and what you use to access the forum to download the pics and help will come. Hi John ,i think trying to post pics on here is harder than building the boat. ive wasted hours trying, maybe you can help. i use an iPad Air 2 to take the photos and i use an iMac (Retina 4k 2019) to access site, i dont know easiest way dont know if i need some image software, it seems like im an old dog struggling to learn a new trick. the iMac is new this year it replaces an old windows pc i had previous so im not to great with it yet. i uploaded my victory pics library to imgur thinking that would work without resizing.

Hi Richard I hope you are ok. Did you manage to find the way to post pics directly into the forum? I saw you had some issues previously. I can't wait to see more of your build updates ;)
Regards Tom

Hi Tom ive still not got it sussed on the pics front just yet, i have just got a new iPad so will try again soon, i have lots of pics to share and i will get around to it. I am at the rigging of the shrouds stage but have decided to go back and re do all the mast rigging of the blocks ect with home made rope instead of the supplied threads, inspired by yourself and Olha, her skills are incredible. i will post a few downloads to satisfy you for now.
