I ran into a problem placing the dc adapter plug and the power switch into the frame of the Xwing. The dc power adapter was crushed when I placed the panel on the frame. I re-wired the kit exactly as it was and now only the laser lights come on when the key on the remote is pressed. The lights do not turn off when the key is pressed again, and nothing else works...thoughts?

I think you need to get a look at the main board and check the wiring first.Did you ever use the DC power plug? If everything looks OK I would ask for a replacement the DC power plug.
