Er ... yes, that's correct, it is their customers from whom they will recoup the costs through higher prices.

Not having got as far as issue 57 in my build I had not yet opened up the issue yet. On checking I find I too have the short 240mm strips instead of the 300mm size, will have to contact CS on Monday for replacements. Thanks for the heads up on the problem

I just checked my issue 57 and found i also have 240mm instead of 300mm i will contact cs tomorrow to get this rectified Paul

just checked issue 57 mine are to 240mm will contact CS tomorrow

Just to alay fears, the 240mm length of these strips should be okay.
The five 1.5x6mm strips (noted as 300mm long) are used in issue 58 (step 1 page 12) to make the poop deck beams.
The longest poop deck beam should be no longer than 120mm long, and because it is double width laid, one strip 240mm long should be long enough to span the poop deck at the point indicated for the longest beam.
The remaining three beams are shorter spans, and therefore the 240mm long strips are more than adequate, (also being double width laid).
In effect, just four strips at 240mm long is enough to complete the task of the four poop deck beams, and leaves one strip remaining from the total of five supplied.

i said that a few times but they need you to tell them i have one 240mm left
