Beautiful work on both ships Yutaro! Brings back memories of the movie "The Final Countdown"! It always seems that they packed a heck of a lot more aircraft on the old WW2 carriers than you see on the modern ones even though they're bigger! Robin. First wooden ship: The Grimsby 12 Gun 'Frigate' by Constructo Second: Bounty DelPrado Part Works Third: HMS Victory DelPrado Part Works 1/100 scale Diorama of the Battle of the Brandywine from the American Revolutionary War Diorama of the Battle of New Falkland (unfinished sci-fi), Great War Centenary Diorama of the Messines Ridge Assault Index for the Victory diary is on page 1

Hi mwb, Mark, Robin and Alan! Thank you for your comments on my post. I'm sorry to be late for sending reply. This diorama is a gift for my friend. He lives in ISHIKA prefecture in Japan. The ancient name of ISHIKAWA prefecture was KAGA. These ships are named after this prefectural ancient name. Best Regards, Yutaro DeAGOSTINI 1/250 the YAMATO, 1/250 the AKAGI.
