Many thanks for those of you peeping in. This one is rattling along now and nearing the finish line. The body parts are all assembled and the doors fitted. The pipework around the fuel pumps etc is all in place - fiddly, or what? The front end has been attended to with added brake and clutch pipes and assorted wiring. I dumped the kit air duct pipes as they were awful. They creased if you tried to curve them. I made my own from rubber tube with a copper centre so I could bend them to shape, and wrapped them with thin solder wire. Much nicer. Front and rear body parts painted inside and out and I've printed my own decals for the red teardrops on the front wings as the kit doesn't contain them and I don't want to mask and paint them as it would leave a ridge around them. Well, just about done... The decals were added to the front, allowed to dry for 24 hours and then the light 'holes' were cut out. All the little fiddly detail parts were fitted and the rest of the decals then went on with a bit of help from Decalset... roymattblack attached the following image(s):
