Finally finished this diorama. All I must do is make two bobble head figues of Tim & Fuzz, already in the making on my 3D printer. The renovated one was a lot harder to build that the scrap one. First, I had to build the internal panels inside as well as windscreen wipers and wing mirrors etc. I really do need to start making larger scale cars, 1/32 scale is too small really to get any detail and these kits are not the best. Still, I only paid £10 each for them and the rest diorama and bases were all 3d printed. I have also added a link for a short video. https://youtu.be/nr3N32Nkca4Anyway, here are some pictures, minus the two guys. Markwarren attached the following image(s):

Many thanks Chris. I’ve done the final piece to this diorama, I’ve made Fuzz & Tim. These were printed on gloss card, glued on plastic card to make them more rigid and made the base with my 3D printer. Mark Markwarren attached the following image(s):

BTW, does anyone know where to get some decent glass model cabinets from, looking at chest of drawer size. Most of my models are in cases, just thought a cabinet would be a good idea and cheaper in the long run? Many thanks Mark

Many thanks Mark With all the small businesses and shops closing down due to Covid, maybe one of these might have a display cabinet that meets your needs?

Mine came from Lidl a couple of years ago - about £75 each. The smaller wall cabinets were around £30. roymattblack attached the following image(s):

Amazing end result. The dio base is also excellent and sets up the two versions of the car very well. So what`s next? Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Thank you Derek. First I’m finished the X-Wing which I’ve been preparing for several weeks, then I look at what takes my fancy. I have a very large stash of models small and large. I’ve also done anther little video of the two cars together. https://youtu.be/DljQYwM6B8gMark
