UPDATE:Barns

Hi all, just a few pics to show were I am to date, the idea is to build two barns one larger than the other and fit them together,so Barn 1 will have a hoist and pulley and a balcony and office were people can pay for there hay/straw.

Barn 2 will be the main storage were they collect from, this will be a two store building with open windows in the roof the pictures below show the base shape Barn 2 but there will be more to add.

This is a front shot.

Port side with upper floor.

Starboard Side.

With a little more added.

This shows the start of the roof.

Thanks for looking

Regards

Trev.

I am loving every episode of this build diary Trev. I love the way that you are getting so much accuracy into each separate building or item that you create, from what is basically just scrap materials!

This is going to be awesome when it's finished. Will you have any figures/animals in the diorama to help bring it to life Trev? I hope so!

Keep it coming mate. Drool Cool ThumpUp

@ Kev thanks for looking in, yes there will be figures/animals I will have to search the internet for 1/75 scale.

@ Mark, thanks for looking in (had to laugh at your comment about the Straw) I have made a few bales from balsa wood and painted them still experimenting.

Lovely work on all those buildings Trev, this will look great when it all comes together!Cool Cool
With regards to figures, Airfix had a set of cowboys in OO/HO scale in their polythene plastic sets, that's pretty much 1/72 - 1/76 scale, you might still find them on ebay.
Keep them coming!

First.
Apology: To Phil, Robin, and Derek, as I missed your posts, thank you.

Well, it is time for an update on the two Barns, there has been a lot of work on these two builds,
mainly with the soldering of the scythes, but pleased to say it all went well in the end. The Barns are not completed yet there will be a little more to add, with the Barn door and surrounding parts, inside the barn I have built a long rack behind the barrel and placed straw on one side and firewood on the other side.

From the rear of the building, we have a loading balcony and ladder at the side, we also have a Winch that does work by rope. I design the Barn with ventilation in mind as it must be very hot in the summer that's the reason it has windows and open-air sides.

The other barn will sit alongside more of an office but has Hay overspill, this will have fencing around the rear part again made from coffee sticks, do have a look at the pictures.

Phil,

Thanks for looking and you nice comments, the build is taking a time but as a scratch builder yourself you know when it looks right even if you have to re-build a part two or three times.

Kev,

Thanks for having a look at my progress so far, as I said the Barn has more to be fitted, such as- doors to the front and rear- windows in the roof-plus a perimeter fence to park the Carts.

Regards

Trev.
