I can't seem to get the proton torpedo bay to fit properly. The detail strakes on the side of bay seem to be binding things up. Any experience or recommendations?

I haven’t got to this stage, so can’t really help. If you can show some pictures, it may help to see what is happening. I’m sure someone will be able to help you.

It doesn't look like these parts were even made to go together...

Hi Shinden,
I know this might sound obvious, but have you taken the parts off and tried reinstalling them to see if they fit better
Regards

Yes, I took the torpedo bay apart and re-assembled it. It looks to me like the shell doesn't fit the model. PM'ing as requested.

Hi Shinden,

After consultation with Admin, this is a fitting issue, not a fault. If you click on the link I have posted and go to post 15 this will provide you the information you need to fix your issue.

Ok, so I tried all of the above and it still doesn't fit. Anyone have any luck with the torpedo bay?

Disregard. Fixed it. Just put some upward force on the nose and that shifted the structure enough to make it fit.
