Hi Al,

I probably should have mentioned I’ll be pffline for a few days. I had a bit of spine surgery on Friday, and the after effects of the anesthesia are kicking my butt.

I’ll be scanning for problems, but won’t be really engaged.

Thanks!

Mark

I was in hospital for the day last Tuesday having a tooth out which went well, just the recovery after didn't quite go to plan after having a laryngospasm and they then gave me some ventolin which sent my heart rate soaring. Just about over things now.

Get well Adim. :)

I know the feeling when these things happen.
The older we get, the more vulnerable we become to side effects.
I recently had some heart related surgery and now I'm fighting body fluid retention.
But, we are all still here and enjoying our modelling which is a blessing.

Hi!

All things considered, I got off easy, compared to you! I hope there aren’t many long lasting side effects? That’s a lot worse than the minor issue I’ve got going! A bit of an infection, that I got a script for the wrong type antibiotic. I’m afflicted with Stevens-Johnson’s Syndrome, and they missed that bit in my drug allergies declaration. I did a bit of research on the new antibiotic they’d prescribed, and discovered that it is a known trigger. Near miss, but it slowed the delivery of the appropriate antibiotic into my system. I wasn’t particularly happy about it all, and I let my feelings be known.

Thanks all, for the wishes! My dad has told me for years that getting old sucks, but he somewhat understated how much…

Stay well,

Mark

Hey Chris,

My dad has had the same problem for 20ish years. I can’t remember the drug they’ve got him on, but it’s worked for a while. They’ll get you sorted!

Stay well,

Mark

Hi Mark, a bit late to the party as I've not logged in for a few days, but just to say sorry to hear of your recent health problems and I hope that you'll make a full and speedy recovery. Take it easy! ThumpUp
