You may want to rethink blocking these posts.
Whilst it is understandable that you cannot deal with the issues raised, a member who gets through to Customer Services may receive some information that other members might find useful. It would be a shame if they could not share their discovery with others who are suffering.

You may wish to read Mark`s policy change notification again. It clearly states that CS complaints will be deleted, not everything to do with CS. Nobody on the FST will ever delete "USEFUL" information. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

This was the subject of the post:
'No further discussions on the payment issue will be tolerated.'
Let's hope that's true, though, and the poster doesn't word it as if it looks like a complaint in that case.

With all due respect John, I feel you are trying to keep discussions about payments and/or subscriptions open on the forum when in fact it has been said again and again that this forum exists purely for "TECHNICAL SUPPORT", as it's primary reason, along with also providing a space for modellers to help others with advice about their builds and techniques? If a customer does find a way to get the support that they need from CS, and I'm pleased for them if they do, it STILL doesn't come within the technical support bracket and in my view should NOT be allowed on the forum?
I do sympathise with customers having problems but to repeat the advice already given so many times, this forum is NOT the place to discuss it and I for one welcome Marks' change of policy.
It is well overdue in my opinion and I look forward to the day when ALL live topics are about modelling!!

With all due respect, Kev, that is NOT my intention. I am simply wary when suppliers shut down conversations with their customers because the subject is uncomfortable for them.
I have no interest in this topic as thankfully I have not purchased any models since the Victory, however I do see people here suffering as a result of being treated badly by their supplier after investing their hard-earned cash in their hobby, and therefore attempting to use any avenue to find a solution. Frankly I don't blame them for posting here.
I have also seen suppliers treating their customers with near contempt, and so if there is a something small I can offer as a suggestion, I will not hesitate to do so.
If you impute ulterior motives to that, then so be it, that does not bother me.

I agree and, in my view, that will only happen when customers do not see the level of problems they appear to be experience currently.

Hi John, As I mentioned in my “new policy” statement, I’m quite happy to continue to address whatever issues arise via PM. The reason for the policy shift is that the issues were impacting the tenor of the forums in a negative manner. I’m NOT trying to hide any issues, but rather attempt to bring the ModelSpace forums back to being a positive site to visit, and I was feeling that aspect slipping away. I will continue to post announcements when I receive them, but the running dialog was becoming increasingly vitriolic, and that runs counter to what I want these boards to be. I will absolutely plead “Mea Culpa” and acknowledge that my own responses have not been up to my own stated standards as well. For that, I apologize to all. LETS MODEL!!! Mark
