I wasn't far out with the masking of the blue...

I've touched up the blue and some of the other areas.

Again with the helicopter I'll have the blades folded away so I had to change these slightly by removing the ends.

And the blades had to have some of the pin removed.

To get this.

This is turning into a cracking build Ian, you've done a great job with those fiddly decals and the folded blades have been expertly modified too!

Very well done, looking great, keep those updates coming. Cool Drool ThumpUp

Thanks guys for looking in and your kind comments..

The decals have finally settled down the best I can get them, I must say that Academy decals are not the best. I've filled in the areas where the decals didn't quit meet up.

I've added the rest of the decals, the instructions give you loads of small decals to add. But looking at photos of the real thing there not present so I've left them off.

Not much more to do on this one so hopefully the next update will be the finished model.

That is a fantastic end result Ian, loving that shot from the rear looking into the fuselage, just makes me want to climb that ramp and take a seat! I remember when you started this build and how people were wishing you luck with applying those 'stars and stripes' decals but it didn't need any luck, since you clearly have the skills to cope with all of those compound curves!

Very well done Ian, a nice build. Drool ThumpUp
